The Brief
Travelog is an ambitious undertaking aimed at creating a seamless platform for travelers to share their adventures, connect with like-minded individuals, and glean insights for their future journeys. This innovative app combines user-generated content, social interaction, and travel planning, fostering a vibrant community of explorers who yearn to explore the world.
Objectives

User-Generated Travel Content: The primary goal of Travelog is to enable users to share their travel experiences effectively. This includes the publication of photos, videos, stories, and comments, capturing the essence of their trips.

Community Interaction: Create an engaging and supportive community where users can interact through comments, questions, recommendations, and suggestions, thus enhancing the travel experience for all.

Inspiration and Planning: Encourage users to embark on new journeys by allowing them to follow fellow travelers and plan trips together through the platform.
Branding Development & User Research
In my branding development work for Travelog, I created a distinct color palette and experiemented with various typefaces to encapsulate the essence of travel and exploration. The final logo design symbolises a compass directing travelers to their destinations , representing the platform's commitment to connecting like-minded users. Additionally, in order to make better design decisions, I conducted a Google survey session where I delved into user habits and preferences around platform and social media usage. These elements converged to create a cohesive and visually appealing brand identity that resonates with Travelog's audience, ensuring a captivating and memorable user experience.
